In 2016 I left my childhood home in rural South Australia and started travelling the world, working remotely as a digital nomad. This was a very formative experience in diversifying my perspective of the world, opening me to new experiences, and gave me a whole new set of life-skills and tools. I was very into podcasts at this stage so it seemed natural to document my experiences which my family, if no-one else, enjoyed. This was my first brush with journalism and audio-reporting, and I would love to pursue this sort of format again in the future (post covid). You can listen to a few episodes below…
