Warp Pipe
Podcaster, Producer (2016 Podcast mini-series)
I’ve always been a huge nerd for Nintendo and Radiolab was, for the longest time, my favorite podcast. In 2016 I started researching the history of Nintendo and made Warp Pipe - a mini-series about the history of this strange didactic 100 year old company. I performed the script and produced the audio + soundscape and was trying to get at the heart of why this company works and how it thinks of itself, ultimately, as a toy company.
This project never found a large audience but I learnt a lot about the researching and audio editing process, and it gave me a newfound understanding (and appreciation) for journalism and audio series. You can listen to the 3 episodes of the series below.
